This strategic plan charts the next chapter in HOPE Services Hawai‘i’s mission to end homelessness on Hawai‘i Island. Building on more than a decade of service rooted in dignity and compassion, HOPE partnered with KKL Collective to engage leadership, staff, key informants, and community stakeholders in shaping a shared vision for the future. The resulting plan strengthens the organization’s workforce, expands supportive housing and behavioral health services, and positions HOPE Services for sustainable growth over the next 5–10 years—deepening impact while honoring the people and communities they serve.

Through the strategic planning process, HOPE Services Hawai‘i identified clear priorities to increase housing stability, expand access to healthcare and supportive services, and enhance the well-being of those they serve. The plan affirms the organization’s commitment to securing sustainable funding, strengthening community partnerships, and addressing systemic barriers that contribute to homelessness. By aligning these priorities with its mission, HOPE will continue to ensure that more individuals and families have safe, stable homes and the resources needed to thrive, building resilience and advancing long-term solutions to end homelessness across Hawai‘i Island.
