This strategic plan, developed for HOPE Services Hawai‘i, charts the organization’s next chapter in ending homelessness on Hawai‘i Island. Building on a decade of service rooted in dignity and compassion, HOPE engaged us in a collaborative process meeting with leadership, staff, key informants, and community stakeholders to shape a plan that strengthens their workforce, expands supportive housing and behavioral health services, and positions the organization for sustainable growth. This plan will guide HOPE Services into the next 5–10 years of their critical work, deepening impact while honoring the people and communities they serve.

Through our work on this strategic plan, HOPE Services Hawai‘i identified clear priorities to increase housing stability, expand access to healthcare and supportive services, and strengthen the well-being of the people they serve. The plan outlines the organization’s commitment to securing sustainable funding, fostering stronger community partnerships, and reducing systemic barriers that contribute to homelessness. By aligning these efforts with their mission, HOPE will continue to ensure that more individuals and families have safe, stable homes and the resources needed to thrive, building resilience and advancing solutions to end homelessness island-wide.
