Objective

Ka Pewa, hosted by Kanoa Leahey and presented by the Hawai‘i Community Foundation, is a podcast that creates space for open, honest, and respectful dialogue on the issues that matter most to Hawai‘i’s communities. Each episode features diverse voices—leaders, experts, and community members—sharing insights, challenging assumptions, and exploring real solutions. In a time of division, Ka Pewa models civil discourse and fosters fact-based conversations that inform, empower, and inspire collective understanding and action.

Impact Outcome

Through KKL Collective’s coordination and production efforts, Ka Pewa became a dynamic platform for community dialogue and storytelling. Our team managed filming, guest outreach, and multi-platform distribution—launching the podcast’s social media presence, creating promotional reels, and sharing episodes across YouTube and major streaming services. These efforts amplified visibility and accessibility, allowing Ka Pewa to reach audiences throughout the islands and beyond. By fostering inclusive, fact-based conversations, the podcast strengthens engagement, builds trust, and inspires collective action toward a more informed, connected, and resilient Hawai‘i.
